The Town recently purchased a new yard waste collection truck and receptacles. The town will furnish a container to those individuals who bag their grass clippings from their mower. Individuals who have yard waste collection occasionally will be able to use their current receptacle. Yard waste will be collected on Monday and Thursday. Additional days may be added as the demand dictates. Place yard waste receptacles at the curb by 7:00 a.m. Crews will only make one (1) pass on each street on the designated pick up days. No trash, garbage, dirt, soil, or rocks will be permitted in the yard waste receptacle. Yard waste is grass, leaves, vegetative garden waste, tree limbs, and branches. Only limbs from normal trimming by the homeowner will be collected. Please continue to place the bundle at the curb for collection. Any trees, bushes, large limbs, dirt, soil, and rocks will be the the homeowner's responsibility to remove from the property. Do not put your debris in plastic or paper bags.
